The Heineken Experience in Amsterdam is one of the city’s most famous and original attractions. This old factory used to produce all of the brand’s beer until 1988, when the main production line was moved to a larger facility outside the city because of overwhelming demand for the product. Currently it operates as the Heineken museum and a popular tourist attraction which has been visited by millions of people from all over the world.

Because of the self-guided element, you will have plenty of time to discover the world of Heineken at your own pace. During the self-guided interactive Heineken Amsterdam tour, you can discover the history of the company, the 4 natural ingredients of the original Heineken beer, the brewing process, a tasting room, and everything about the Heineken brand. As you walk through the monumental old building you’ll be able to see the gigantic copper tanks that were used to brew the original Heineken beer, the company’s old advertisements, and even pour your own beer in the Heineken Museum bar. The Tour is an exciting high-tech multimedia experience available in several languages including English, French, Dutch, Russian, German, Chinese, Portuguese, Italian and Spanish. You can also download the Heineken App to enhance the tour experience further. The Heineken Brewery Tour lasts around one and a half hours, and at the end you’ll be able to enjoy two drinks while you relax in the bar. Non-alcoholic drinks are also available and you can try your hand at pouring your own Heineken straight from the tap!
